Joining us after Orientation? Your first class of the season with us is always free.

What happens in class?

Students workshop different roles and scenes from the Annie Jr. script and build on the orientation choreography together. Every week, your child gets closer to the stage.

The earlier your child joins, the more they will have prepared before our audition weeks in Weeks 4 & 5 (Tue 11 & 18 Aug), where students get a chance to show what they have been working on and tell us what role excites them. The earlier, the better.

Can I book a trial during audition weeks?

Yes. Those dates are not available to book online, but you are welcome to email hello@musicalmakersclub.com.au and we will arrange it. Just know that Weeks 4 and 5 run a little differently to a regular class, so if your child is joining cold, it may feel like an unusual first session. That said, if they are brave enough to jump straight in, we will welcome them with open arms!

If I join after auditions, will I only receive an ensemble role? Most named roles will already have been cast by that point, and where possible, roles are divided across students to make sure everyone in the cast has their name in the programme. There may be minor named roles still available, and we will always write in a couple of lines where we can. No one is left without a moment onstage. But for the best chance at a more prominent role, joining before auditions makes all the difference.

Show days for the Bellevue Hill cast: Thu 10 Dec and Fri 11 Dec at Zenith Theatre, Chatswood. All enrolled students will be required for both days during show week.
